Thanks to Alan Tucker and Cody Partlow for going the extra mile to help us get a teen boys' church league basketball team together for the upcoming season. Soon, we'll have to start having practices and such.
Naturally, we'll need to get jerseys, so I want to challenge you, O Reader, to tell me what you think about a couple of things:
1. What should be our team colors?
Red and White?
Yellow and Green?
Blue and Yellow?
Purple and Green?
Orange and White?
What do you think?
2. What shall we call ourselves? It is probably understood that Bucky will continue to be our mascot, but we can't just call ourselves the Old Hickory Beavers.
The Ravenous Rodents
The Ferocious Furballs
The Flying Hedghogs
The Biting Badgers
The Badger Claws
The Ill-Tempered Stuffed Mini Mammals
The Dunking Prairie Dogs
Or should we just carry Bucky along and not have a name?

For the colors I like either green and yellow or blue and yellow. and for the name I like the Biting badgers!

Green and Yellow would at least be different. Blue and Yellow looks pretty cool, too!
Are we having a girls team? I think it would be really cool! I know some people who would be on it ( I think)Please respond.
I think it would be cool, too, and it's definitely something that we could do.
As of right now, we do not have anyone trying to put together a girls' team.
I (Mark) am just not the one to try and coach basketball, but if one of you gals wants to try and get a list of people who really want to play and a coach, I'll be happy to get the other stuff squared away.
I'd love to see us have a girls' team, too, but right now there isn't one organized.

I vote for blue and yellow! and the ravenous rodents. And this is Hannah and I am working on a church bball team and I know angela can't do it and I could be a player and lindsay bell can't do it so I doubt we could have a team. But I am still trying!!!!
I don't think we can have one beacause angela is playing for someone else caylin is busy, and lindsey is playing for school. :(
I think the colors should be silver + black or blue + white.

hey... yeah you should pick off the wall colors so that you dont match another time... but the OH basketball colors are red and white..
